Issue
I have a customer that needs to print a text inside a very narrow window. Problem is that 1 millimeter (0.04 inch or 1/25 inch) tracking is not enough accurate.
Graph-Tech implemented a very easy solution from 3.54B P100. It has been tested so far only in one encoder, one photocell systems.
Bear in mind that the tracker can track distances of 64’000 pulses, that is maximum 64 meters if tracked with 1 mm accuracy. If you track with ½ mm precision, the maximum length shortens to 32 meters.
Setup
Click on the encoder and select the precision. 1 is 1 mm, 2 is half mm (1/12.5”), 5 is 0.2 mm (1/5”), and so on.
